The charter for the Center of Excellence – Portfolio Administration is to support our company’s commitment to your success. The Center will provide best practices for our products, processes, and data management. The goal is optimal portfolio administration resulting in company cost savings and corporate compliance.
The Center’s focus is on all portfolio administration best practices to help our customers succeed in their use of our system and services. The Center also strives to provide guidance that leads to the successful onboarding of new hires.
To engage our customers more, we have started an online series – “Let’s Have a Think.”
We set up online chats with our customers to discuss current, timely best practices on multiple topics.
Our first “Let’s Have a Think” focused on System Administration around the key topics of user security and user maintenance.
Our second event focused on activities that drive data changes. We also discussed the best practices for managing data through portfolio administration. And our Center of Excellence – Lease accounting experts shared best practices for handling COVID-19 lease strategy scenarios and understanding the impact to portfolio and accounting recognition.

Our process for our online chats is to send out an announcement of the upcoming topic three weeks prior to the event. We ask our customers to provide us with specific questions around the topic, and we provide them with a few sample questions. We then compile the questions and have our subject matter experts ready to share answers during the event.
What has been a real hit with our customers is that after the formal question and answer session, we open the chat to all attendees. This becomes an opportunity for attendees to share their best practices and pose questions to the experts.
